Hello,

Does anyone know a reliable travel agent in Amsterdam to book a ticket to Mumbai? I want to book through a travel agent as I have heard, booking through a travel agent has a higher luggage allowance (up to 30 kg) than the online booking.

I have heard there are private schools / tutors who offer courses / guide for 3 to 6 months to get inburgering cleared.
Anyone having info on such courses in Uithoorn-Amstelveen-Amsterdam areas will really help.

Transfer of Indian driving license into Dutch driving license

Hello,

I am trying to get my driving license here. Getting a Dutch license seems difficult and costly. I plan to go to India get a driving license and enjoy a two months holiday there. Thereafter come back and get the license transferred to a Dutch license. I have heard it is possible however there are some residency requirements. I have been here more than 3 years.

It seems KVT will stop in 2012 and will not be offered from 2013. Thus not a good news for me and others who were planning for this exam in 2013. Then probably we will have only two available exam options - Inburgen or NT2 in order to qualify for the perm... more

My opel Astra car needs some urgent maintenance. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good car maintenance garage in Amstelveen. Though I know the original car dealer, want to avoid it due to cost reasons.
