I have gone back and forwards with this company, passed to a different customer service person each time, making this point.... Since you offered no options or ability to change the verzorging, I took that to mean what was described would be what was delivered. Imagine ordering a pizza, with lots of toppings listed on the menu, with no ability to change those toppings, only to be told after you order.. "oh, we don't put pepperoni on the pizza". It's ridiculous.  less

Sure it is a bit strange that in the description they are speaking about Logies and AI, while later you can't choose for AI. But Logies in the Dutch travel world means Self Catering. And according to Dutch law the moment you finished the booking it was final. No ifs anymore. What you call your initial enquiry was a final booking. Internet cooling down of 8 days doesn't apply to travel, tickets, etc. I do empathize, but I fear you won't stand a chance should it come to some legal matters.
Since this booking is done with a company which is a member of ANVR, those terms and conditions apply.

under the assumption that the verzorging was all inclusive, since, as you can see on the link above, there is no description for 'logies' other than the description for all inclusive. I went to the booking page, selected my preferred date and when it was obvious that there was no 'verzorging'choice, I assumed that it would be as described... in the 'product description' if you will.

3 hours later, not happy to leave it to assumptions, I emailed the customer service team, asking them to clarify the verzorging of the package and instructed them that if it did not include all food and drinks, to cancel the enquiry. At this stage, all they have is my name, an address which is not my own and date of birth.

Fast forward to a week later, Core Travel, with whom the vacation is apparently now CONFIRMED, are saying that I chose the verzorging basis as 'logies only'(...    less

    Hi,

I placed an online enquiry last week for a vacation to the following hotel

    http://tjingo.nl/turkije/alanya/angora-apart

under the assumption that the verzorging was all inclusive, since, as you can see on the link above, there is no description for 'logies' other than the description for all inclusive.

Fast forward to a week later, Core Travel, with whom the vacation is apparently now CONFIRMED, are saying that I chose the verzorging basis as 'logies only'(Impossible, as I was never given the choice) and that if I don't pay for the holiday in full, they will bill me a cancellation fee of 140 or so euros... For a holiday I believe was missold.

Where do I stand?! AS far as I'm concerned, they have no verification of my identity, no clue which person in my travel party submitted the enquiry and no bank details, so they have no possible claim to a contract.

ANY advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
