We were married in the UK, so we have a UK Marriage certificate which was also ratified here in Germany. We have also 2 children, which were both born in Berlin, and we have been separated since 2008. I don't have any Assets (House etc), and my ex-partner wants to keep a good relationship between us after the divorce for the good of the children. Can anyone please offer any advice on the cheapest and quickest way to do this?? Must we get divorced in Germany, or could we also get divorced in UK? Do we need a lawyer if we already agree on finances and childcare? I would be grateful for any advice please, or to hear from a lawyer who specialises in such cases. Many thanksGary  less
