We sacked UPC for the TV and now have a digital freesat box; cost a bit to buy the thing and instal it but it's only the equivalent to 3 months UPC bills.

The Douane do check your paperwork when you go to re-register the car... paperwork such as your Gemente documents, UK car documents and the like.
We brought ours over from the UK, drove it around on UK plates for a while (about 6 months.. very naughty) and then started the import process. The Douane weren't interested in when the car arrived here, just when we bought it and when we arrived here.
And to answer your question regarding no claims bonus... we had to scratch ours and start again but you could try FBTO.nl as they seem to be pretty on the ball.  less

Number 1 daughter has decided that she would like to continue with her clarinet lessons now we're settled and going to be staying for the forseeable future.

Ive tried a number of places locally but no joy at all unless I want to spend the thick end of 800 euros for 25 minutes a week.

Can anyone recommend me a nice friendly clarinet teacher please?
