Depends on your luck, basically. It's not a city paved with gold, protectionism is rising (jobs for the Dutch, who frankly speak the native language, our language, and usually one or two others also). Migrating Europeans can easily take the English speaking low-skilled work. Jobs using 'Native English' as a unique selling point have all but disappeared. Many businesses relying on tourism are hurting in this recession.
Just my view, and perhaps you'll get lucky - can you pick up old contacts from when you were here last? Perhaps they'd know better.
Try your luck, but any poster here for 5+ years will tell you it's not the same as it was 5 years ago.
