Hi I am a 38 year old planning to move to Spain in the next couple of years, however I have Crohns disease and am finding that most of the healthcare insurers either won't touch me with a barge pole or are charging fees that I cannot possibly afford working or otherwise. The problem for me is that their are so many other issues with Crohns, muscle problems, eyesight on top of the illness itself that it would hard to determine if I got ill in the future whether it was Crohn's related and i fear any insurance company that did insure me would not pay out. My partner is considerably older than me and so in 2 years time he will recieve the state pension so therefore I will also be insured for state healthcare with him I understand. Am I mad coming to Spain with this condition and relying solely on the state healthcare system. All views welcome. Thanks for your help.
