  If I were to look to buy a condo anywhere on the Spanish coast, where would you say are the best deals right now? Are some areas hit worse than others? What is a good website to check out listings around Spain(something similar to www.realtor.com or www.realtor.ca)? I speak Spanish so if the website is only in Spanish it is not a problem.
  
  I don't have specific price range I am looking for just wanted to get the feel of where most of the deals are right now.

  One of the most significant cases was the closing of New Century Financial Corporation which was one of the largest sub-prime mortgage lenders in the market.You should also stay on top of the trends that it is causing in the real estate market to make sure that you're buying isn't affected.Let's keep moving forward and pull ourselves up and out of this mess we are in.

  Oh dear, no constructive reply. We love Gandia, its central and like the rest of the Spanish coast has been hit by the property problem. It would take an eternity to look around different sites and areas of Spain and you still wouldn't get a good idea. Although its said that some of the discounted bank properties are a good buy, I personally would steer clear as if its sold under value, the tax office could come and ask for more money once purchased. Look at Costa Blanca News on line for this area but not sure where you would go for other areas. It gives you the news but not much property. Estate Agents here (we are selling our property http://www.valenciaholiday.iowners.net) and to be honest I wouldn't trust any Estate Agent around here - comparing them to the UK.
