OK, so I'm a little late to the party ...
Now that you're in Belgium you should expand your horizons and try one of the best kept secrets in the country, namely the free range Ronquiere Turkey.
As far as I have discovered, you can only by them directly from the farm (contact info below). Call at least 4 weeks ahead and let them know how many people you will be serving (ask a french speaking friend to assist). They will advise you as to the proper size to accomodate all with just enough leftovers (note, don't gauge the weight based on your experience with US birds). Follow the recipe provided, this is like no other turkey you've ever roasted or tasted. The roasting time is much shorter than your typical grocery store frozen lump and it is the juiciest, most flavorful bird you'll ever eat.
We've celebrated Thanksgiving here twice now and our guests, both expats and locals, have never been disatisfied.
It may be a bit of drive but the village of Ronquiere is quaint and peaceful. Take time to walk along the Old Canal and visit the Ascenseur on the Grand Canal.
