Hi,
I was on the highly skilled migrant scheme and worked in the netherlands for 2 years till April 2012. I have been deputed by my company to work in UK and I had had de registered myself from the town hall when I left. I still have my residence permit with me which is valid till 2015.
I would like to know whether can still visit netherlands since I have my permit with me or would the permit have been cancelled since I de registered.
Thanks,
Anil

The permit would have been cancelled once you deregistered and left the Netherlands. The GBA automatically notifies IND. Permit holders are supposed to turn in their residence permits to Dutch immigration at the airport when they leave NL for good.
