Dear Friends,
I am working in Amsterdam since last 5 years having a Knowledge Migrant Visa.
Recently I am planing to change my job.
Somewhere I heard that I do not need to have a knowledge Migrant Visa if I am staying in NL for more than continuous 3 years. In other terms I do not need to fulfil the requirements for obtaining Knowledge Migrant Visa (mainly the salary limit).
1. Can someone help me and give some more information regarding this ? How can I initiate this process for this this ? Where can I get all the required information in IND official website ?
2. My wife has a dependent Visa on my knowledge Migrant Visa, however she is also working here. If I come out of the 'knowledge Migrant Visa', would she be able to work still ?
Any information would help me a lot, thanks in advance.

If you have five years of residence and can pass the Dutch language exams then you could apply for permanent residence which would make you free on the labor market.
Otherwise, you can file an application with IND now to change the purpose of your stay from 'kennismigrant' to 'arbeid vrij toegestaan'. Your wife gets your status so she could continue to work. Since you are changing jobs and supporting your family, it might be a good idea to get some professional help to make sure the transition goes smoothly.
