Let us rejoice and be glad… Sistema has just released a wonderful record, Possible Sounds Of Möbius (Natura Sonoris), the culmination of an extensive career as both a producer (with 12-inches on labels like Regular, Science and others) and DJ (including a residency at Moviedisco and guest spots everywhere). In fact, with the launch of this new album many of us realized for the first time that the man had never made an LP, and that just didn’t seem right. Listening to it, however, confirms that it was definitely worth waiting for. It really is fantastic, a reimagining of traditional IDM from a contemporary and very personal perspective, which is all we’ve come to expect from Sistema. And if we’ve been able to wait this long then it won’t hurt to wait just that little bit longer, till he graces the Moog to present this new treasure… Just make sure you don’t miss it.
