Just curius? Why move to NL (rather than "I follow my sweetheart"), since I have seen many many Canadian moving to EU or working in EU recently.

- Being bored of the long chilly days in Canada
- really like the European culture?
- avoid the crazy immigration rate these days in Canada, and want to be in a more genuine Western culture ?

In my opinion, NL is much less good than Canada in
- Housing space
- Housing price and the ease to find a decent house/appartment
- Average honesty of average people
- Sight seeing

You'd be surprised! Utrecht is a big city, I live in Dordrecht which is much much smaller and it only took a couple weeks to meet one! Talk to any backpacker and they will tell you that Aussies and Canadians are in every damn teeny town in every country of the world lol

I'm not Canadian, but I do like the Canadian people, yeah, much better than the American, Swiss, Dutch, French, German, ... people I have met or known.

Can I join? I speak French and English.
