    it is possible to rent out your appartment when it's for sale with permission of the bank as long as you use a "leegstandswet vergunning" . That way you can reduce the cost and win some time...

    you can also get some legal assistance on how to avoid fraudulent behavior from landlords and get your contract checked!
    hmm hardly an effective search method.... obvious it's all complainers overthere
    try introduce yourself by posting a search add on

    www.speurders.nl
    takes more time but you don't pay agents fee
    or check out
    www.kamernet.nl
    www.funda.nl
    or check out the agents platform
    www.pararius.nl
    or hire an agent :-)  less

    if you keep the "business description"open to a variety of things so you can also do cleaning, gardening, light-construction work etc etc it should be possible to make some money...
    nice taxadvantages too... you'll pay ample taxes for the first 30000 profits

    Leiden is approc one sixt the size of amsterdam and the connection leiden-AMS is fairly poor. Than better choose Haarlem. Commuting AMS-the Hague will take you approx 45minutes/train

    why not drive it yourself? take all the luggage you like, save on ticket, make a nice trip.... Just one hotel break should do the trick.. just 35 euros in french bufget hotel ( F1)
