Hello, I am reaching out fellow Expats who might be able to lend me hand in finding out how to figure out the going salary for research analysts here in the Netherlands, AMS to be precise. I was recently asked by a company interested in hiring me to give them an idea of the compensation I would like to receive for a part-time job of 25 hrs. Not being from here, I have no clue as to how to find out. I did a google search and that led me to a page that advertised that it would help me find out how much people in my profession get paid...but the questionnaire went on and on and it seemed that they wanted to know too much. I would greatly appreciate any clues. Thanks, V.
Hello, I'm sure this question has come up in the past, but perhaps someone can help me by either referring me to earlier posts or providing some guidance. I obtained a residence permit via my relationship status with my former boyfriend. We recently separated and I have about six months left on the one-year permit. I'm employed, but don't earn the required 28,000/year income that I hear IND requires to issue a Knowledge worker permit.
My question is: If the IND finds out that I have split with my b/friend and that I don't earn enough, will they automatically deport me? I am trying to start the paper work here at my present employment but fear that time will run out and I may in fact have to leave the country within days if IND becomes aware that I no longer live with my -ex.
Any ideas? Does anyone know what might be the ramifications for someone in my situation?
