Weekly meet ups are now held so members can meet other members to see who they click with to share a house with, and we have been able to create a service that's free to use, and doesn't have any scammers posting false adverts online wasting peoples time.

Yeh the next event is on Tuesday 8th Nov at Bar Italia - Rokin 81-83 / Nes 96 Amsterdam at 7pm.
On a separate note, I have also organised a party which a lot of my expat friends as well as locals are coming too, you can see the event at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=286396938043378

FYI you can hook up Expatica to your Facebook account & publish to BOTH at the same time.
Just click on "Settings" in the mini menu at the top of the page to make it happen.

We are a social club for Amsterdam expats with an international membership that includes both recently relocated Expats and long term residents.
We host weekly and monthly social events. Additionally, we host frequent special events. The primary goal is to meet interesting people and make new friends.
While the group is primarily focused on expats, native Dutch are also encouraged to join. The more international the merrier!
