Emilio, I'm sure this is not as funny to you as it is to those of us who can picture it but are lucky enough not to have lived it! Now as Dr. Vil (read it in Dutch and you will get it) I am here to tell you my theory on why the dog went into the rabbit hole in the first place... ready?

The poor dog could not live with the shame so he decided to go underground! He probably found a whole community of dogs who were ashamed of their owners and was hoping to live happily ever after until you turned up, flashlight in mouth, shovel in hand, cursing to the winds, red with anger, steam coming out of your ears... his dream crushed. So he decided to forgive you and go back to owning you and for the rest of his life tried to forget about the black pudding.

Laurel, you might have a point with teething... thinking of babies, they can't sleep well during this period either so we'll have to wait and see. Joey does have a few toys, he loves those rope thingies and tennis balls (which I still think are too big for him, but he of course doesn't agree). His favorite is a stuffed cat which squeals when he bites it... not my favorite at 6AM!
