    belastingsamenwerking... what?
    Hi,

I've been in Holland since September 2010, and I rent a house (inclusive of g/w/e).  Toaday I got 3 letters from the belastingsamenwerking .  The fist appoligised for sending 2 bills at once.  The others were the 2 bills from Belastingsamenwerking.  They didn't charge me for 2011 (one bill), and they sent me the bill for 2012.

Now, my rental contract is inclusive.  Shouldn't these bills be paid by the owner of the property?

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the info.

I was told by the consulate and the town hall that a polish birth certificate doesn't need an apostille.

we were registered, but given the list of things that had to be completed, and she wrote "international birth certificate" where the boxes were.

what happens if what they need isn't completed within the 3 months they allow?

    Hi,
I have a bit of a question. I went to the town hall with my mother for her to register. Her birth certificate is Polish, so I also brought along a (Australian) certified english translation of said certificate. The person behind the counter said they can't accept this, and that we need to have an international birth certificate.

So, I went to the Polish consulate in The Hague, and they had never heard of it. They said I need a new certificate, or one that was issued within the past 3 months, and I applied for that.

I've been using google to try to find out what the international birth certificate is... and can't find anyting useful.

Does anyone know what the town hall was talking about?

in the topic microwave-able wax in the forum Girls Only in the Netherlands
    Hi,
I need to buy some hard wax (the kind you put in the microwave to melt). All I've been able to find is the soft strips, or a type of hard wax from kruidvat that is not microwave proof.
Does anyone know where to buy a tub or two?

    Thanks,
    V
