This free workshop gives an introduction to traditional Thai Yoga Massage, one of the four disciplines of traditional Thai medicine. You´ll learn the theory of the two most important techniques of traditional Thai massage:
Southern technique, Wat Po – based on deep acupressure following the energy lines, influenced by Chinese medicine
Northern style, Nuad Bo Rarn – based on soft acupressure and deep yoga stretchings, asanas, influenced by the most ancient yoga from India.
Traditional Thai yoga massage is a preventive and therapeutic ancient technique of massage developed more than 2500 years ago to cure or prevent different kind of diseases and ailments. In example, it helps to reduce stress, improves the blood circulation, digestion and the immune system, increases the flexibility and boosts the energy level in the body.
If you are interested you can follow a full Professional Thai Yoga Massage course. All students who follow Thai Hand’s courses will receive certificates that are certified and acknowledged by ITM (International Training Massage) School in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, acknowledged by the Thai government, Department of Health and Education in Thailand.
