If you make a move along with your entire family then you are entitled for a tax benefit of 4000EUROS. i.e. 4000EUROS is exempted from tax. I think this should be considerable amount which should cover at least 50% of your relocation exepnese.

in the topic MVV - Apostille of BC and MC - Need your Inputs in the forum Indians in the Netherlands
    casperkamal said:

    Dear Friends,

My employer is currently in the process of applying for an MVV on behalf of me and my family. He has requested for an apostilled BC for my daughter and MC for my wife.

The BC was issued on Dec 2010(Tamilnadu) and the MC on Nov 2008(Tamilnadu). I have the following questions,

    1. For an apostille do they require the certificates that were issued latest by 6 months ? While a few posts in the forum say we don't need it with apostille and it was the case with legalization, yourmanindia recommend me to go start with a reissue. The problem here is the re-issue can almost end up delaying my trip by good six months.

For Apostile they dont need latest one. But for you registration at town hall here you need to produce latest DOB certificate Apostiled. Marriage certificate will be issued only once and hence you dont get a latest one from Indian Govt. You can get it Apostiled and can submit for your MVV and townhall registration here.

    2. Are these certificates required right when applying for MVV by my employer or is it sufficient that you produce it @ IND Mumbai ?

If you would like to travel with your family then u need them while applying for MVV. If you come here alone and later initiate process then you dont need it one. I suggest you to come alone first. Because you need to know many things when you arrive here and with family its really difficult.

Couple of things you have to do once you arrive are:

    1) Going to IND office and getting Workpermit sticker on your passport. If you dont do this you are not allowed to work here.

    2) Go to tax office apply for BSN(also called SOFI numer)

    3) Once you get this you vae to open bank account

    4) You need to go for TB test.

    5) You need to take care of medical insurance

Remeber all these things have to be done for your wife and kids. If you do it along with your family it will be difficult. Because you yourself are new to all these and every one willl be in trouble.

I suggest you to come here get used to DUTCH system here for couple of months and then initiate visa for your family.

Does your kid has a passport? If not then it's a different story that you have to know. Even I am facing the same probem.

I came here alone. Beleive me there are many things you have to do when you come here. ON top of the things I have mentioned there are other things as well.

What type of contract you have. Is it permanent or contrract?

    3. Currently they request for BC for my daughter and MC for my wife. But will there be a need for BC of my wife to register with the town hall ? If so should i start working on it already now ?

THis is answered in above reply

I'm looking up to you guys for some real help as i'm quite confused about this

    Thanks in advance for inputs.

Send your number I will call you now. I am also from HYderabad. I will guide you to get Apostile.
