I have a small village house for sale in the Aude department 11.It is close to the airport at Carcassonne.It is cheap 35000. euros needs restoration but it needs no permits to do the work as it has water electric and sanitation and it has a roof! it is great for an artist studio and living space.Too small for a family I think.It has 2 floors and a large attic to make into living space and it has a walk in basement.This village of Bellegarde du Razes is in the Malpere wine country and is one of the hill villages.Very romantic and un spoiled.Each floor is about 25 feet long and 12 feet or bit more wide.There is no garden but a little tree shaded place is at the entrance to the house.The house is on a corner and on the main place of the village.Nice mayor and neighbors and tax is under 100 euros a YEAR.
