Hello,

I'm beginning to research the possibility of moving to France in a couple of years, and am wondering if I need a work permit if my income is derived from online employment (all U.S. employers)?

I'm hoping to apply for the long-stay visa with savings and evidence of monthly income from non-French sources, but am of course wondering about work permit issues as well as tax questions.

Any insight you can provide would be much appreciated!
