Mavis Staples should've sang 'We shall not be moved' at the Washington gig yesterday.

That would have been good...but did you hear/see Aretha?? What a voice...what a voice!!

My husband is Dutch; he told me that all statements and bills should be saved for seven years.

I know it is a number of years that one is supposed to keep bank statements for (I thought five years but I think your husband would know better - being Dutch) and I am not sure but it may be the same with the tax return forms. Anyway - it does seem a long time to have to hang on to all that paper work!! I know I have enough rubbish without having to save more - but I too tend to hang on to statements etc. for five years.

Um, yeah, it is a bit sad. dry.gif biggrin.gif
To be honest, I'm wanting it all to come to an end as it's so dragged out, boring in places... but I too want answers before it does so alas go on watching. dry.gif

Don't know if you are interested Wesley but if you key in ''Lost'' you can see a preview on Youtube of the brand new series (5) which starts on ABC on 21st January. It does look quite exciting... rolleyes.gif

The OP needs to know that the vaccinations, pet passport and chip need to be completed before your pet ever gets on the plane from South Africa. Otherwise he will have a lonely stay at Schipol.

Well I guess that makes sense! Having got both my dogs in this country, I know nothing about actually ''importing'' them from outside the EU. The info I posted was what one normally does within the country when one first gets a dog. I guess that the original poster would already know something of what is involved in bringing the animals over though...at least I hope so for his/her and the dogs' sake or as you said, it's not going to be a swift reunion so fingers crossed!

I thought you said you wasn't going to post anymore 'LOST' info here, being as there appears to be a great lack of interest.
I've only recently started watching it myself, just starting on Season 3 at the moment. It's irritatingly addictive... will go onto watching 'Desperate Housewives' soon, which I hope will be even better.

I keep promising myself - with each new season of LOST - that I am not going to watch it, after a number of months of weaning myself off it between series. I am still hooked and still waiting for the new series to come out...but I do hope this time that there will be some answers to all the open ended questions!! If I am honest, I love it! (sad eh?).
