hello all - Im looking for 2 new players( male ) to join our 5 a side team in the urban football league based at Meudon. The new season of 18 games starts next monday night - 27th of February - and runs for 18 weeks . Our team is called ENGLAND - and we wear the england shirt. Initially the team was almost 100% english but over the last couple of years we've accepted a welshman , a serb and a couple of frenchies .
Ideally im looking to recruit a couple of brits .

What you need to know ;

-The games last 25 minutes each way with a 5 minute break & kick off is at 8pm .
- its 5 a side football. small goals , outside on astro turf . you can check it out on www.urbanfootball.fr
- Cost of participation is 950 euros divided by the no. of players in the squad . In theory there will be 7 of us thus cost would be 135 euros each. This works out at 7.5 euros per game .
- payment of subs is in 2 parts , half up front & half midway through the season
- we provide full kit , england shirt , shorts & socks that you get to keep forever
- we have won the league once in 8 seasons
- we tend to start each game well and then run out of steam
- average age of the squad is 38
- winning is great but we are above all playing to enjoy ourselves
- we play the english way ie . more physical than everyone else
- you wont have to play in goal
- drinking often takes place before and always after the game
- we have several car drivers in the team so pick up & drop off from various paris locations can be arranged .
- you need to be available for pick up from about 6.45 pm - from paris it can take anything up to an hour in traffic to get there - plus we often stop for a beer on the way
- if you are a car driver and fancy driving then even better
- you dont have to be the new rooney . Obviously i would expect you to be able to play to an acceptable standard though - no comical falling over mr bean types
