Hello.
Here's my situation: my ex-employer (for whom I worked on two consecutive one-year contracts both starting in November) did not pay me my vacation money for the second contract (Nov 2010 - Nov 2011). According to the contract he was supposed to pay in May 2011. I notified him (by email) last December about this and he answered in early January that he did not know that the vacation money has not been paid, he said he has some financial problems and that he's going to pay in full within 10 weeks. I agreed to this. Those 10 weeks expired at some point in March. I didn't receive any payment and I haven't heard from him. This last month I tried to contact him numerous times via email and phone. He won't answer my emails or my phone calls.
My question is: is there anything I can do short of suing him? Is there any (government) organisation I can complain to? I just want someone to shake him up a little, maybe that will convince him to pay :). I don't have much time now for a full blown trial.
