Hi Expatnl8,Thanks for your info. It will be great if I could have a look at the Dutch source saying that says "Starting from July 2011, TWV for non-European nationals or Bulgaria/Rumania nationals is only granted for the exceptional cases"  less

On the other hand, according to new dutch immigration policy, work permit will only be granted in extreme cases. Hopefully your case falls into the "extreme category". Either way, you do need luck to succeed. So wishing you good luck.

    Hi Expatnl8,

How new is this "new Dutch immigration policy"?

My company, though not big (less than 50 person) has won the fight with UWV for another non-European colleague in 2011. Comparing to the case of that colleague, I "might" have better luck because

My company has learned the way to deal with UWV
    My qualification is comparable
I have worked for this company longer than that colleague

But I could imagine that...    less
