    Like welliamin said, it is very very good idea/ or must to be corrected, because you will have problems for sure in City hall. They verify very clearly and you will be identified and they will simply tell that they are not going to accept

    If i am correct, during the registration at the Municipality, they will ask for the rental agreement. Registration with hotel address is not possible I guess.

    I am not sure about it, in my case our relocation agency arranged the BSN number prior to my registration with Gemeente. But i beleive what you said is correct because usually the practice is the gemeentee issues the BSN after your registration.

    Thanks Reddy. I am currently in Hyderabad. Apart from Birth Certificate (BC), the municipality can give another one called Non-Availability of Birth Certificate (NABC). The later one is for people who has no record in the municipality. Just checking if NABC can be used.
     I doubt whether they accept it or not? U can check with your compnay(byt the way which compnay is it)  less

    First u go to city hall and buy the form to obtain certificate of fitness, and it will cost around 22 euros, and fill the form and send it to the address shown in the form and in a week time u will receive the certificate of fitness.
    Now u can ring the city hall and get an appointment for drivers license exchange, and when u go they will ask your wife to produce the following

    (2) Original and valdi Indian license
    (3) Photo copy of your 30% tax ruling document
    (4) Fees of 32 euros 
    One more importabt thing is that, the applicant has to stay 185 days in that year where the license is issued.
    They will ask you to show the proof as well

    No way the birth certificate issued by embassy wont serve the purpose. U have to get it done in India only, and that to If i am not mistaken you have to go in person. Getting apostile is a bit of process in India

    Do not forget to get your birth certificate apstolized, it is very very essential and required. Just advising you, also the birth certificate need to be issued from local municipality not from India embassy
