I am French and I live in the south of Paris. My wife who is American really liked a French course called French 4 U.

They didn't spend a lot of time on grammar but emphasized on the everyday conversation. They insisted on the common expressions, the ones you use in the everyday life.

They say it works just like a mother teaches her child. I don't know about that but I know it's efficient
