    John,
Finally found someone who is in the same situation.
If you take the redeployment option you will still be in the payroll of the company so nothing will change regarding your immigration status. Once your time with the redeployment centre will be over then you officially become redundant. From this date you will have 3 months to find a new job provided your KM permit is still valid for the next 3 months.
The tricky part is the 30% ruling. I have been researching about this for months knowing that I will be made redundant shortly but NO EXPERT can answer what is the legal point on this. As per law any redundancy payment is not applicable for 30% ruling as it is considered not an income from employment but compensation for loss for future income. However being in redeployment centre is not a loss of future income so is it eligible for 30% ruling or not is not explicitly clear. ...  more

2275/month is not enough for family of 3. Housing is very expensive in Amsterdam. A singe bedroom would be 1200 all inclusive, Insurance 200, Food 500 (if you cook and eat), travel 150, Telecom 50... remaining 175 but something or other will always comeup... you wont be even left with money to go back to India once a year...

It wasn't intended to cover people with less than a full year on their annual contracts, although it might look like that to the uninitiated.  It's intended to allow people who have worked continuously for three years on very short term contracts ranging from days to months with different employers to satisfy the income requirements without a one-year contract.

The IND assumes everyone else has a year contract at the minimum so you can always apply just before your next contract year starts, instead of looking for a special exception to let you file a few months early.

You can't figure out everything by downloading a form.  If this was true, I could do my own taxes.

    Hello,

I posted the below question in the Legal forum but did not get any advice. May be someone can help me here.

I am not obliged to do the Integration course but I would like to do it to obtain permanent residency.

I know I could do Inburgering at level A2 or NT2-I at level B1 but I somehow feel the integration exam at level A2 is simpler. I understand from my Dutch tutor that I have to do another whole book (code 1 for A2 and Code 1&2 for B1) and may be spend another 2 levels (level 3&4 at the institute, not the EU language level) of lessons which will take another 8 months. Any thoughts or advice on this?

    Thank you.  less

CZ is a schengen country, normally no one checks for your passport/Residence Permit because you dont have to go through passport control anywhere. But sometimes the police may ask for it if you act suspicious or just like that when they do random checks. Though normally it is not checked, if you are found without a passport you may even be jailed until your identity is validated. Happened to one of my friend in Belgium. He just thought passport was not necessary so travelled with his Residence permit.  less

I really wish someone could answer this. I will let you know if I know more and you let me know if you know more. btb... do you work for a bank??? I think so..... RBS/ING/ABN? Cheers!
