in the topic Clothing for tall women in the forum Shopping in Belgium
I think esprit do jeans in varied lengths and the long one should be about 34 inches I think. Not sure about shoes I'm afraid...In general you could try going to Flanders or the Netherlands to shop as well as I think their populations are generally taller on average.
    good luck!

    Hi

Does anyone know any shops that cater for long legged women. I need jeans that are at least 34inches long and shoes in size 8(42)???? Its soo embarrassing when you ask these questions in the store and they say 'no sorry'

    Thanks

Yeah unfortunately I know all too well what you mean- it seems so hard to meet people in Brussels and some of those I have met don't seem all that welcoming. I think you could wait for ages and it would not get any easier. Soooo, I'm with Demona- I think we need to take the plunge and organise to meet up. How about we have a drink together one friday after work or saturday? We could meet at a central location and then try some of emilio's suggestions for pubs?
let me know what you think!

in the topic Trip Home for Xmas in the forum Australian in Belgium
    hey all
I'm organising my trip back to Australia for christmas and just wanted to know if anyone knows a good travel agent to reccomend? Or which are the best sites on the net to look for flights? Ideally I'd like to make a stop in Vietnam for a few days on the way.
    thanks!

in the topic Bicycling in Brussels, Healthy or Suicidal? in the forum Travel & Transport in Belgium
I cycle to work everyday but my colleagues also look at me like I have a death wish! Its true to cycle in Brussels you have to be more determined, its not as easy as in other countries. There are cycle lanes on some roads, but not all, and drivers are not used to watching out for cyclists, some can even be quite rude. Apparently the ProVelo organisation has some information about the best routes to take etc. As for gears it really depends on the route you are taking and how fit you are but for me I think it makes life a lot easier if you do have them.

in the topic Native EN hairdressers? in the forum Shopping in Belgium
    Hi,
does anyone know a Native english speaking hairdresser? I've had a lot of trouble making myself understood either in French or with non-native English speakers. Any location is ok.
    thanks!!
