Hi Everybody I thought Iwould let you know of the experiance we had whilst in Spain on a property viewing trip. We had decided to look for a property in Mazerron in the Murcia region of the Costa Calida. There were many companies offering these trips at a subserdised rate. We finaly decided to go with the company, whose property prices most fitted our limited budget. The company is called (LUZ DEL SOL).As you can imagine we were a little aprehensive after all the hype we had heard. However we were met at Alicante Airport, and taken to the hotel, where we were given the option of starting the viewings after a couple of hours break or leaving it till the following morning, We opted to start after a short break, Firstly we were taken on a tour of the area showing us the local amenieties, like shops, restaurants, places of interest, and the best of the local beaches. We then went on to see the extent of the New build projects in the surrounding areas, All this took approx 3 hours, during which we stopped for a drink at the local Golf course clubhouse. In all that time "NO SALES PITCH at all" WE were taken back to the hotel and shown where the best restaurants were. At this stage, we were to say the least "confused". We had heared all the horror stories from various people about pressure sales, and were expecting it to start from the first meeting. The following day at 11am the viewings started, with some of the properties we had requested to see, We were shown about 5 properties, of which we saw one that we liked. At this stage we didnt let on that we were interested. We had lunch and a coffee stop during the day and finished at about 3.30pm all paid for by our escort. Again "NO SALES PITCH", The following day we were off again at 11.30, We were asked would we like to re view any of the properties? which we did, we looked at 2 properties including the one we liked at first viewing. After that we went for lunch again paid for by our escort,He told us that due to our limited budget there were no more houses he could show us. We then decided to put in a offer on the house we liked. The first offer was refused, but the second was accepted. We are now on our way to owning a home in Spain. All this and "NO SALES PITCH" We are completely satisfied with the Estate agency and all they did for us during our stay. The answer to the question you are thinking is no We do not work for the company. But I would recomend LUZ DEL SOL to anybody contemplating a move to the Costa Calida. Many thanks to all of you for reading this epic tale Mr & Mrs D Moorhouse
