We are planning 3 cozy evenings at the fabulous Music Corner located between Schuman and Place Jourdan. There is a warm welcome, excellent food and the intimacy you get in a small venue. The concept of this cozy location is to share their love of live music. Together with our love for bringing people together, we are sure to have an enjoyable evening.

Serve the City (STC) invite you to join us for an evening of music and fun. Boogie on down to sounds from the 70s, 80s and 90s – at the same time raise money for the STC Splash project.  Fresh water is something we rarely think about.  Many communities dream about having fresh water and STC are going to deliver 1000 euro to dig a well for a community in Malawi. 

 

Serve the City is a movement of volunteers around the world connecting with local opportunities to serve in our cities.

 

The evening kicks off at 21h00 and entrance is just 5.00 euro per person.

HOMELESS FOCUS DAY

 

 

Saturday 18 February, will be our next Focus Day serving our friends on the street in Brussels! Please join us as we seek to meet needs and show care to those often forgotten by society.

Food4Friends

Volunteers will prepare and serve food to our friends on the street at the three major train stations in Brussels, as well as in the St. Catherine neighborhood. Join this project to help meet a basic need for a meal, while also meeting a deeper need to care for and feel concern about another human being.

 

 

You Look Marvelous/Fun and Games

Volunteers will visit this home for disadvantaged women and children to bring some joy to their Saturday afternoon. Volunteers will provide manicures and makeovers to the mothers (no experience necessary!), while other volunteers entertain the children with arts and crafts.

 

 

Fun and Games

Volunteers will spend the afternoon playing Bingo with residents at a social restaurant in Brussels. This is a great opportunity to share friendship and fun with people who are often forgotten in our city.

 

 

Clean and Green

Volunteers will serve meals and help with cleaning and other practical needs at several different locations for organizations focused on meet the needs of disadvantaged people in Brussels.

 

 

Rock Around the Clock: Dance at Epée

Building off the great success and fun at the dance party at Epée during the Elderly Focus Day, we decided to do it again. So Tony will come and give dance lessons to volunteers and our guests from several social restaurants in the Marolles. Get ready to have a good time, make some new friends and learn some new moves!

 

 

Game On!

Volunteers will host a group of homeless men from the George Motte shelter for an afternoon of bowling. It will be a fun afternoon of sport and friendship for a group of people often lonely and in need of friendship.

Not sure how to answer this one. But, most people in Europe will use international English when they write, or at least every organization that I deal with. A few do make a choice to use British English and I guess the main thing to think about is what your product is and what is the target audience. There are far more British people in belgium than North American's for example.

Actionsport is great and my children go there and they have cover from 08h00 to 18h00.
