Fines for dutch health insurance zoekjaar?
    Greetings:

I recently apply for the zoekjaar, and I am still covered by my student insurance with IPS Lippmann. I consulted with them and told me that I could continue with it until I got a job (the same information is in nuffic so it should be OK). I received a letter from CVZ last month telling me I need to get Dutch health insurance (in a period of 3 months), but when I called then and explain my situation and told me to fill a form and send it to SVB, their answer is they will do an research telling me wheater or not I need to take dutch insurance.

I am aware I need to take basic Dutch health insurance once I got a job. And I believe SVB/CVZ will tell me to get Dutch health insurance, since I'm staying here more than a year. So my question is
Once I get Dutch insurance will the company make me pay retroactively for all the time without it? Can I prove I was insured with my student policy?

I've been told the same by my insurance company and the same info is in Nuffic. But what happens once you find a job? Do you get a fine for your previous year for not taking Dutch public healthcare insurance?? Regards

I'd like to know your advice about which of this options is more convinient, since you can only choose 1, I'm a master graduate student in information management. I understand the zoekjaar is more convinient because I don't need a work permit even if I found a job as a high skilled migrant, however I believe I have few posibilities. For the other option I could travel home study some things (even dutch), get more job experience and then apply from home for the high skilled admission scheme and come back here, disadvantage is that I need a work permit to start working, so far I found information that getting that work permit is complicated and employees are not willing to do that. Any advice or your personal experience would be appreciated. Regards  less

In adition when I did my internship I was deducted taxes but also pay a concept for insurance (ZVW - Zorgverzekeringswet) which I understand is dutch health insurance, so I complied with the law there.
