Dear nannies,
Nanny for Expats is an Amsterdam-based nanny agency offering various nanny positions with international expat families (www.nannyforexpats.com).
I am currently looking for a French speaking nanny per the 20th of August 2012 for a young, friendly and easy-going Bulgarian - French family in Amstelveen. They have a adorable little girl of almost 2 years old.

I have a nanny agency myself and I think this sounds ridiculously high indeed. I know that there are agencies who ask about € 90,- per month for all these services (although they don't find you a nanny; they just provide access to their database with nannies)!
Myself I ask for a onetime placement fee of min. € 800,- and max € 1800,- eur (depends on how many days per week you have a nanny). For that fee I find you a nanny but also remain available for any help during the employment of your nanny, I arrange quarterly evaluation meetings, I arrange a contract between the family and the nanny, etc. ... more
