    Hi,

I'm employed by a Dutch company in the Netherlands. I live in Amsterdam with my family.

My employer wants to send me for a IT project in Bern, Switzerland. the duration is 12 months with potential extension.

My employer also wants me to take a flat in Bern to reduce cost.

I will work there for 5 days a week (with one home office day after 3 months) but will come back every week end in the Netherlands.

Our customer in Bern said that I should be employed by a swiss payrol company. My Dutch employer has no branch in Switzerland.

But I don't wish to quit my Dutch employment, I have th 30% ruling in the Netherlands, extra pension scheme, (very good) health insurrance for me and my family, company car, etc.

My wife works in the NL and my children go to school in AMS. They're not going to move to CH!

I know we need to discuss this we a tax expert, but ours is on holiday until 13/01/2013. so I'd like to have to high level recommendations.

    Cheers and than...    less
