Can anyone advise? We've just viewed a house to purchase in Belgium (Flanders) and been told by the owner that it is designated as a 'holiday let' so 'it can't be lived in full time' (which we had hoped to do eventually). What does a 'holiday let' designation mean to a buyer and can it be changed (for a fee?) so that we could live in it full time. Anyone been down this route? I plan to ring the agent (who didn't happen to mention the 'holiday let' issue with the property) but I'd like to have some knowledge in hand first. Any advice would really be appreciated - the house is just what we were looking for! Many thanks Mel (MGBS)
