Hi girls,
Arriving from London soon. Thinking about setting up a threading salon. Only thing i'm not sure about is the demand. Not sure the locals would use it much. What do you think?

Hi guys,

I am moving to Vught from London at the end of Nov with my Dutch Partner and two kids. Boy 11 and girl 6. My daughter will be starting at ISE in Jan in the Dutch stream. I was wondering if anyone knows how it is and how she will adapt/learn Dutch etc.
Also, am very keen to meet other families who live in this or Den Bosch area. Really don't know anyone!!!... more

Fireworks are BANNED in holland. It is only legal to buy them 3 days before New Years Eve and only let them off between 8pm and 2am on new years eve!!!

Moving to Vught??? ISE??? Need advice?

Hi guys,

Am from London. Have 2 wondeful children and an equally wonderful Dutch boyfriend. We are seriously thinking about moving to Vught. I have been there many times, of course, and really like it and Den Bosch of course. Having already started Dutch 1-1 in Vught too! Schools are very important for us. Have made an appointment to visit the International School Eindhoven. My children attend private schools in the UK and I'm sure that it will be very different but would like some advice perhaps from existing/past parents who have had an experience with this school.
Also, I am very willing to integrate into Dutch society but are there many expats living in or around this Vught/Den Bosch area? Would be great to make some friends!... more
