I gave this example in my previous post and Avocado didn't say anything against it so I think it's true :)
My guess is you have to apply for a KM first, then depending on the length of your contract, you can apply for a "PR permit on the basis of more favorable national provisions".
But wait until Avocado confirms this.  less

The good thing is with your continuous 7 year RP, when you can turn the zoekjaar to KM, you'll probably be eligible for a permanent residence permit, if I'm not mistaken.

I obviously prefer digital version since I can keep all of them in one place and easily access later on. But I'm not sure if that will be a problem if I need to show all the salary slips to IND when applying for a residence permit which allows me to be free in labor market (i don't know how it's called).

Anyone has any idea? Is digital salary slip as effective as paper one?

And seriously if she earns 53k/year and now asking for 70% salary increase after 1 year, i highly doubt this is possible and OP wouldn't do that.

I personally think asking for 70% increase is not realistic. Bear in mind that most of Dutch people are not tolerant and they don't like indirectness. So when you think you're underpaid, you should have negotiated the desired salary in the first place. Why now? are you here only for money? That's what your employer will probably think/ask no matter how well you explain yourself. Or he'll just say you better find a higher job that matches your requirements.  less

She's the only tenant, her permission would be enough. And while she's in fact subletting the apartment which is illegal, but she'll only register me there for purpose of receiving mails. She's obviously not allowed to sublet the apartment because there is no rental contract between us. But she insists registration is possible.
That's what I wonder what's the difference between "normal" registration and this kind of registration?

No rental contract, I urgently needed a place so I paid for 1 month rent plus deposit alreay. The landlady is sort of my friend so we don't have any signed contract. Because the apartment is rented under her name so she's not allowed to rent out the room to somebody else, as far as i know. So in fact she is just a tenant herself.
I asked her if I could register at GBA since there is no contract. She said she'd go to Gemeente together with me and register me there.
So my question is: is that actually possible to register without a contract? I heard from many people that they can register someone at their house just to have address to receive mail and stuff, and they will avoid paying taxes, etc. So, as long as Gemeente doesn't find out someone is living in the house, they're fine. Both parties are happy. tenants get registered, landlords get paid. Is it true? What's the difference?
Someone please shed some light on this. Thanks!  less

What if my landlord decided to terminate the contract because of the price reduction? Or no more extension at the end of the contract.
He'll definitely aint happy with the new price and he would rather find another tenant :)

Could you elaborate Osita? I have lived here for 6 years and never heard of huurcommisssie, only huurtoeslag. What does huurcommissie do? and how did you get a 4BR house with a price that cheap? 4BR house seems to cost 2000eu to me
    Thanks

She got questioned by an officer for few minutes though, i think that's normal procedure since she overstayed. We didn't ask IOM because we thought they're not much of help (what Avocado is true, we still have to go through Schiphol exit control anyway, i doubt they could help us of that issue). Your gf still has 28 days to leave, so that won't be any problem whatsoever. I personally think your plan is good. No more headache. I'm doing the same thing. Do you know how long it will take to get a MVV for spouse? And what are exact conditions I should meet (I can't find on IND website)? I don't have a permanent contract yet, thus i'm worried by the time my wife gets a visa to enter NL, my contract is going to end and without contract extension, in worst case scenario, we both have to leave after 28 days after having been through a complicated and costly process. But that how it is i guess  less
