    work permit
    hello,

I have  been living in the Netherlands 5 years for study purposes and I will be doing 1 year internship, so overall 6 years. Is it necessary to have a normal job contract (not internship contract) to apply for permanent residenship? I have heard that I need to work at least 1 year even though I lived more than 5 years non stop in the Netherlands? Is that true?

    zoekjaar work permit
    Hi All,

I graduate from University of Amsterdam and got one year zoekjaar which means I am allowed to work in the Netherlands for one year. I currently have 32 hours/week internship and I am thinking to to work during the weekends too to cover my costs. My question is am I allowerd more than 40 hours/week? I am from non-EU but have one year work permit.

    insurance advice
    Hello Expats,

While I was studying my bachelor degree in Amsterdam, I used to take AON student insurance. Now, I am studying masters and doing internship. I believe just student insurance is not enough and I need to take normal insurance. I have also heard that, if my income is below certain level, I can apply for zorgtoeslag to get subsidy from government.

My question is do you know any normal insurance package that is around 70 EUR per month and I can apply for zrogtoeslag after taking that insurance?

I am in the dark and I would be extremely grateful if you could shed some light on this issue.

    Many thanks for your time.
