Our free Expat Survival Guide contains diverse and essential information for expats settling in in the Netherlands. The guide is mostly distributed through international companies, groups and clubs. We are looking for volunteers to help us extend and improve the distribution list. Our only requirements are that you are outgoing, a fluent English speaker and ready to have some fun with us.

In return, we will treat you to daily lunches and pay a small reimbursement and travel expenses. We expect that two volunteers can complete the task in a couple of weeks.

Expatica is looking for a marketing intern to join our Marketing team. Do you have what it takes?

The Intern works with the international team of Expatica’s marketing department in Haarlem, The Netherlands and report to the Marketing manager.

You will be working on:

• Customer service: you are at the frontline of receiving feedbacks and questions from Expatica user. You will be helping solve user questions and problems.
• In charge of “ask the expert” section: liase between Expatica users and experts in specific fields
• Publishing community news
• Publishing advertorials
• Publishing PR articles
• Monitoring web conversations about Expatica and participate in the conversation
• Supporting the marketing manager in serveral big projects including HR Seminar, “i am not a tourist” Expat Fair
• Other miscellaneous marketing tasks

 Start date: 1 May 2012

This is a part time position for 20 hours per week, based from home (the first week you will be trained at Expatica’s office). A minimum period of 6 months is required. I am an expat in brussels. I will levae Belgium in few weeks time. I have a pension insurance with DeltaLloyd in which both me and my employer pay a certain amount each month. Initially, I was told that if I leave I will get the money back. Now, the rules were changed in 2010 and DeltaLloyd is refusing to give the money back. 

I want to know if it is possible for me to get the money back right now? Also, is it possible that I can transfer my pension money to some other country and what is the procedure for the same.
