I'm in the same situation except we're not a gay couple. I'm American and she is German and we are in the Netherlands as unmarried partners. I wonder if this could be carried to Germany under the EU principle of the free movement of people. I've heard that if you're exercised your Treaty rights in one member state, another will have to recognize it if you move there. I just need more concrete information.
