  I'm an American living in NL, and I have to do the Staatsexamen 2 within the next year.  Will the gemeente in Eindhoven pay for me to take a preparation course?  Will they pay for me to take the exam?  

   

  If you live in Eindhoven and have relevant experience with this, I would really appreciate your feedback!!!  :-)  

   

  (I've already lived in Leiden and Maastricht so I know how the gemeentes can vary from one extreme to the other.  In Leiden, I had a personal budget and could take evening courses  at the university there.  But if it's at all like it is in Maastricht, then I'd rather just avoid the hassle of dealing with the gemeente altogether and just keep studying by myself.  I'm not interested in classes that take 40 hours a week (self study for 32 hours in their school as well as 8 hours forced, unpaid labor in a low-level job.)  :-/

  Hello, I have the same problem, I would like a decent school in Eidhoven, Helmond or Den Bosch area, that prepares me for NT2 I. I live in Uden area but I don’t find anything decent here. Maybe anyone can point me to a good school , i prefer a bit more intensive 2-3 times per week . Thank you

  There is no funding of course anymore, not by Gemeente and also not by other government institutions (DUO). In some cases you can reach 'tax-reduction' or your boss can pay for the course anyway. If you need a professional teacher, I can help you in Vught through private lessons.
