Dear parents and guardians,
Children often acquire languages effortlessly but some children show problems, especially with word inflections. Whether a child grows up monolingually or bilingually can have a big influence on his or her language development.
For my bachelor thesis and as part of the project FlexiT (Universiteit van Amsterdam), I am conducting research on the way bilingual children acquire language. In connection with this, I am searching for child participants who are native speakers of German or English and have started acquiring Dutch when they were 4 to 7 years old. By now, the children should have about 4-5 years of experience with Dutch and preferably they went to a Dutch school.
Attached, you will find a document containing a written call for participants and further information about the details of my study.
If you and your child are interested in supporting me in my research, please contact me via a message, phone or email!
