@ Kuchar, why you sidelined poles. We are talking about eastern europeon in general. BTW poles are the most hard working communities among eastern europeons
I've wrote about Poles because I know their situation. I think that Polish emigrants are the largest group from Central and Estrern Europe.

In Britain there are a lot of complaints about pakistanis and indians from racist idiots. The right wing always has compliants about any foreigners when things aren't quite as rosy. Its called passing the buck. The dutch used to complain about the brits and irish years ago.
There may be lot of complaints about pakistani in UK
I doubt about Indian.
May be UK gora can't differentiate between Indian and Pakistani ,both look same
It's the Indian who are suffereing from the pakistani's deeds in UK

You got it in one! That's the average intelligence of this kind of racist (English, Dutch, French, German, American, and yes, African, Indian, etc) - they don't care enough to stop and find out, anymore than they try to find out if it's a good or a bad person: it's far easier to tar all with the same brush rather than making the effort to find out for themselves. In a way, it is a social thing - puts them in touch with other, like-minded, morbidly-stupid simpletons who can't rub two brain cells together to produce a moment of doubt with their way of thinking (probably while eating a madras curry).
Pity them. They lose out because they never get to befriend people from other cultures and their lives are never enriched in the way ours, as expats and explorers, are.
Incidently, one of the sweetest guys I know here in Holland is a Pakistani expat of mature years, close to retirement, and he would do anything to help anyone (and he does, frequently).

Sounds like a very similar attitude as people who make huge generalisations about eastern europeans, muslim people, whatever.
I've met a couple of indians in my time who also tend to think that pakistanis are in some way inferior to themselves.
blackwater walked into that one very easily didn't he/she :)
