  Hello

   

  So we've done the hard bit, I've got a job, we found (miraculously) a private rental in a good part of town and we're all set to move across except... where's all the gyms?

   

  Now I've done tons of research and I know there's a fair few gyms with fitness equipment and classes etc, but, understandably given the layout of Amsterdam there's very few that also offer a pool/jacuzzi/steam/sauna. In fact the only one I can find that's central is David Lloyd and it's so expensive!

   

  I know everything in Amsterdam is expensive but are there any other options other than David Lloyd? Even a hotel that also offers gym memberships?

   

  Any pointers would be good as currently David Lloyd is more than £20/mnth more expensive than my current gym (which is the most expensive one in my area!).

  I believe it has a pool. But I expect it will be more expensive than David Lloyd. Looks nice though!

   

  There is also Sento, where I believe you can use the pool in the complex:

  But I think that was also very expensive and the hours for accessing the pool were very limited.

  or look for swimming pools that have gyms- mercatorbad, marnixbad and sloterbad all have gyms attached and I think membership is cheaper than david lloyd.
