Hello all
I have recntly moved to Hengelo from the UK and wondered if there were any groups or meet ups in the area (or Enschede) for expats?
While trying to learn the language its a bit slow at the moment in terms of socialising and making friends! if anyone else is in this position and would fancy a coffee let me know :)

Guys.... any news so far :)
Alright,
I'm Chris, 34. I've been living in Deventer for the past 9 years. Married to Esther (Who's Dutch)and have 2 boys aged 5 and 3. I'm originally from Rotherham and a fan of Sheffield Wednesday. (Neil, I studied in Sunderland so was also frequently out and about drinking in the Toon)
Every 'WK' or 'EK' i get the mug on because i don't know ay fellow brits which brings me (yet again) to the Expatica website.
If any of you ever fancy meeting up for a beer or a game of pool (maybe you're already aware that there's a half decent pool/snooker place in Hengelo) then just let me know: chmillzy (at) hotmail.com
Cheers
Chris.
Hello everybody, Hope this thread is still active.. I'm an expat from India working in Hengelo. I would like to get to know other expats in the area, so if anybody fancies a meetup please let me know.
Cheers

Hi,
I too rarely log on. I can't believe my last post is getting towards a year ago!
I studied Computing on St. Peter's campus. 1995-1999. And yourself?
Did you also frequent 'Manor Quay'?
I'll more than likely log on here again in a year's time or so to read your reply!
Cheers
Chris
