My husband applied for registration of our marriage at Gemeente in April and since it was taking time, we took employers help to apply for my dependent MVV which don't require your marriage to be register first before giving positive decision. here is the link to my earlier post.

All went well (not really still delay from stupid authority and my husband has to call them everyday to push thing forward), and I am here now but our marriage is still not registered its 3 month now. The marriage certificate is complete in all respect (Apostilled and Legalised) and still no joy. My husband rang Gemeente and they said they are still waiting for answer from foreign police.
Did anyone had this similar situation and what causes delay, we got married in Nov'10.
Somebody told me this 6 month old marriage thingy and how authority look upon it with suspicion etc. Could that be the reason?
But isn't Apostilled Stamp should be enough for them to clear their doubt. The last communication we had from Gemeente was in May that process is started in India for verification of the certificate.
Now the questsions is :
Can I get my RP without our marriage register in Gemeente. Heck I am not even register in Netherlands at any address now. Although I am living with my husband.
This is weird situation I am here on dependent MVV and my husband status is still 'single' in NL, so this defeat the purpose of IND giving me the dependent MVV to join spouse here. And unless my marriage is registered I cannot apply for the residence permit.
Since my husband own's the house can I register myself at that address and can I take appointment from IND for RP, will they be fine ?
How much time is given to applicants who enter Netherlands to get the residence permit on dependent MVV, because for now it looks like long wait and no one knows how long untill our marriage is registered.
Please advice.
It seems to me that you'd be able to register at an address no prob...just not apply for a residence permit at the IND until all the paperwork is in. I can't see why the gemeente would care whether you're married to the guy you're living with or not (I mean, I'm non-EU and wasn't married to my Dutchie at the time and the gemeente didn't care) The gemeente isn't concerned with immigration; the IND is...

Thanks for your reply canuckywoman and peony. I called IND and also Gemeente and looks like my problem will be solved. I made an appoitment for tomorrow at Gemeente for registering of address, IND guy told me I have to ask for 'Bewijs van bekendmaking bij de GBA' from Gemeente and then show it to IND. Lucky for me IND appointment is very next day. I will update on it. Thanks again. Sure will post on legal forum in future.
