  Anyone got any info please on setting up an internet connection with plug in phone, eg skype?

  What do you need to know bil
  I have Skype & Sightspeed, but to my knowledge theese are systems that are used to communicate, not to set up internet

  Well, first off I need info about setting up an internet link via a satellite system (no cable in the village) and then I need to know about Skype or any alternatives.

  Cant remember where you're ending up bil, but try Telitec on 664 331 463 www.telitec.com
  I know they were only covering a lot of the Costa Blanca but when I spoke to them a while back they were expanding and knew people in other areas doing the same.
  
  For communications just go to www.skype.com or www.sightspeed.com

  Not so sure, but as I said contact them and ask if they have similar contacts in that area ... I'm sure he said he did have other contacts

  Bilw stated quite clearly he hasn`t got a phone line and needs to know how to get a sat link internet connection which will allow him to use Skype to make phone calls.
  
  Or for you
  
  He needs to speak to his plastic box thingy via som kinda invisable thingy.

  Only problem is there not cheap to rent, and really are only used for holidays to remote areas.
  
  The Nera Worldpro 1000 is a great bit of kit for a laptop, but again only for short term use, tends only to be used by agencies and people who need to keep in touch.
  
  your probably better off just travelling back and forth the local logo.

  I read the site, they sell ADSL, but you need a land line.Thats the bit you plug in, you know the plastic box with a little man inside that speaks to you.

  But I have what 'they' sell!
  Seriously now.
  I have small radio antenna dish on the side of the house. Which points to a radio mast,situated on the mountain.
  The service this gives me is , Broadband (1mb) and phone with landline number.
  I haven t a clue how it works!
  It was a Movistar promotion, 39 Euros a month, plus phone calls.
  Check it out!
  Can anyone back me up here?
  I m sure I m not the only one using this service!

  Hopefully Bil has this system ,where he is.
