  Hi fellow aussies, Im moving to Spain and want to know if taking my Computer from Australia will be ok to work in Spain? I know the MHz are the same but Spains voltage is lower than ours and need to know if this will wreck my comp or blow it etc.....does anyone have any idea???????
  Spain 220W Australia 240W
  
  Would appreciate any input in this matter as I dearly want to take my computer to keep in touch with family and friends!!!

  Hi Deboz,
  I presume by "Comp" you mean your computer ? What do you mean by MH ? If it helps, the voltage here is 220V. The bit about "wattage" is irrelevant as your computer will consume as much wattage (power) as it needs. The important bit is the voltage.

  PC's from UK work here fine, and the voltage is different
  
  But buy surge protectors as there are power cuts and spikes from time to time and you need to be protected

  Electricity in Spain is 230 Volts at 50 Hertz so no problem.
