  Hi, I am just getting settled in Paris and am looking to buy a good espresso machine. Does anyone know of a good shop?

  There is an impressive shop in the 15th - rue Grenelle between rue Violet and rue du Commerce. Not cheap but then what is. If it is close to you and you are interested I can find the actual address for you.

  It is Mathieu (Cafe machines for restaurants and particular people)

  Closest Metro is Emile Zola.

  Glad to help. It is around the corner from me so saw it many time. I am sure there are many others far cheaper such as the Nexpreso types with a single cartridge but that is also an expensive way to go.

  while being to paris i also visited that shop in the 15th. although i was looking for shoes nearby in

  Christian Louboutin and Serge Rossi, that shop also caught my eye :)
