  hello experts,
  
  Currently I am holding residence permit valid until 2012, I have plan to move out france for 6-7 months and come back here. in this case, is there any rule that I should travel back to France with in N months (6 or 5 months) from the date of leaving? Like in US, green card holders should travel back with in 6 months and similarly in Germany, resident permit holders should travel back to Germany with in 6 months.
  
  Is there any rule like the above in France?

  Definitely,It might be the rule like Germany and USA for France.But,I am not sure,So,I would like to suggest you,take an advice from experts in this case.
